Revisiting this beautiful resort after 15 years and it did not disappoint then and neither did it now. Totally lived upto our expectations of a serene, calm and rejuvenating experience. The backwaters and greenery add to the natural and rustic charm of the place. The kids had so many things to do , cycling , badminton, and indoor games, basketball, lawn tennis, and the beautiful pool amidst greenery. The restaurant , Choola , dished out some amazing delicacies and after knowing that we were revisiting after 15 years even went that extra mile and baked a beautiful welcome back cake for us , which really touched our hearts. There is a home like vibe and all the staff were hospitable and very warm and accomodating. The ayurveda massages were super relaxing. The lake facing villas are just mind-blowing and extremely spacious. We loved every minute spent here and looking forward to our next visit. Thank you team Punnamada for a memorable stay.

Right on the backwaters and you can see the houseboats go by from your window! It was a old world charm if you want real kerela experience!

Had an amazing experience staying here at punnamada resort. Food was amazing. Ambience was also exceptional. Staff were well accomadating to our every needs. A very special thanks to each and everyone who made us feel so welcome.

A beautiful facility, but rooms are shabby. The living room is a dark, loveless room. No beds are made and there are no fresh towels either. The pool area is very unkempt and the loungers are all broken and dirty. The food in the restaurant is tasty. However, the service is so bad that you feel very unwanted.

Good Ambiance,Stayed in docked house boat.Room was clean, but lacking in some items like electric kettle etc.Food served for breakfast and lunch (buffet ) was amazing, good taste meets quality.Location is good, Wallet parking available.

We ended our Kerala trip at this heritage-themed resort, expecting a comfortable stay given the high price, but it was a big disappointment. Upon check-in, the manager was unwelcoming, and when we had questions, he brushed them off, saying he'd address them after completing the process. Unlike other resorts, there were no complimentary baby food or extra mattress offers; everything was chargeable.The resort seemed understaffed, with employees not even in uniforms, which is surprising for a 4-star property. We stayed in rooms 701-705, which were not well-maintained. Some lights were missing or broken, and others were hanging by wires. The bathroom was unpleasant, with insects and muddy-tasting water, which felt unhygienic.The atmosphere was eerie, and we felt like we were the only guests there. Even though the surroundings had beautiful greenery and backwaters, the resort made no effort to create a lively or enjoyable environment.Overall, it's overpriced and doesn't offer value for money. We wouldn't recommend staying here.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The resort is maintained well. If you're driving down here roads leading up to the resort are a little narrow so, one has to be careful.The resort ooks exactly like it is in the pictures. Gives a nice old world charm. Small town vibes. The rooms are connected at the roof so, noises from the adjacent room can be heard, which was a little off.Had breakfast here, food is average with decent spread. Fine for breakfast.Staff is sweet.
